BMI Composer Harry Gregson-Williams Gives Online Presentation to NYU Film Scoring Students
Multiple award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams recently presented online insights from his successful career to NYU Steinhardt film scoring students. The presentation, entitled “Behind the Film Score,” was an inside look at the many facets of creativity that go into scoring. Gregson-Williams not only presented his work and answered questions from the students, he also critiqued their scores. The program is one of many in which BMI composers have mentored students at NYU, and in particular, one of many in which Gregson-Williams has lent his talents to aspiring composers throughout the country.
