BMI Celebrates Cole Swindell with No. 1 Party for “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” Chart Success

BMI compiled industry professionals and friends alike at their Nashville office on Monday, December 4, to celebrate the chart-topping success behind Cole Swindell’s No. One single, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” on Monday. To celebrate the 2023 ACM Single and Song of the Year, Swindell (BMI) was accompanied by songwriters Thomas Rhett (BMI), Jesse Frasure (BMI), Tim Nichols (BMI), Ashley Gorley (ASCAP), Mark D. Sanders (ASCAP) and producer Zach Crowell (ASCAP).

Hosted by BMI’s Josh Tomlinson in the Nashville office, Swindell and his co-contributors shared their excitement about the track’s creation and its success at the party as it serves as Swindell’s 13th career No. 1 at Country radio. Sponsored by Studio Bank, the evening highlights included a donation presentation made by Ron Cox on behalf of Swindell and the songwriters in support of Toys for Tots, a charitable program established by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that provides toys for children in need around Christmas time.
