BMI Band Closes out New England Craft Beer Summit

BMI brought the heat recently to the 7th annual New England Craft Brew Summit after party by sponsoring a soulful performance from the Dwayne Haggins Band, a BMI-affiliated group from Boston. The Summit is a one-day event held in Portland hosted by the Maine Brewers Guild that features educational sessions and networking opportunities for brewers from across New England. The after party, which was held at long time BMI licensee Liquid Riot Bottling Company, featured a high energy set by Dwayne Haggins and his band mates whose style of music has been called a cross between Otis Redding and Hank Williams. Haggins, who is a BMI songwriter, writes all the band’s material and performs regularly in venues throughout the Northeast.
