BMI Attends Special Performances Presented by the Oak Tree Group
BMI’s Doreen Ringer-Ross and Reema Iqbal recently attended two special performances put on by the Oak Tree Group in Los Angeles. On September 14, Ringer-Ross attended the musical set of notable composer Rolfe Kent, who mesmerized the audience with his intriguing melodies at the Theatricum Botanicum’s outside stage, while on September 28, Iqbal attended the Composer Collective concert at the Theatricum Botanicum. The intimate setting under the stars, showcased the world premiere chamber music from some of the most prominent composers including Michael A. Levine, Bijan Olia, Adrienne Albert, Lolita Ritmanis, Harry Gregson-Williams, Ceiri Torjussen, Daniel Clive McCallum, Starr Parodi, Matthew Ferraro, and Danny Elfman. Composer Collective is an annual concert presenting new works and treasured classics by some of LA’s most popular and ground-breaking musicians of television, film, and more.
