BMI was on hand recently (8/18) to help a Hall of Fame songwriter raise money for important causes back in his hometown of Indian Lake, Ohio. Each year award-winning BMI songwriter Even Stevens travels home to host “The Nashville Hitmakers,” a songwriter round that benefits the Indian Lake Watershed Project, as well as the music departments of Indian Lake Public Schools. The Watershed Project’s mission is to improve the water quality of Indian Lake, which is a popular destination for boaters and fishermen. Along with Even, this year’s concert featured BMI Icon Dean Dillon and hit BMI songwriters James Slater, Jason White, Mike Loudermilk and Alison Prestwood.
