BMI and the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL) hosted a screening of the Warner Brothers' movie Syriana with composer Alexandre Desplat (Casanova, The Upside of Anger, Hostage), who just received a Best Original Score Golden Globe nomination for the film's music. The screening was followed by a Q&A session moderated by journalist Jon Burlingame, who led Desplat in a discussion of his original work.
