The Young Musician's Foundation recently hosted its 52nd Annual Awards Gala, celebrating another year as the premier youth music organization in the country. BMI VP Doreen Ringer Ross, Composer-in-Residence and former YMF honoree John Ottman, and BMI composer Merv Griffin, previous winner of the YMF Humanitarian Award and Chairman of Foundation's Board of Directors, attended the gala ceremony. The BMI-sponsored event also featured a performance by noted pianist and composer Michel Legrand (Yentl, Summer of '42), along with his colleague and wife, renowned harpist Catherine Michel.
