‘Industry Insider’ Panel Offers Insight Into Latin Music Market

BMI, Gibson Guitar and Billboard magazine presented the latest installment of the "Industry Insider" panel series at the Gibson Guitars Showroom in Beverly Hills. Entitled "Where are the new sounds and rhythms taking Latin music?," the bi-monthly panel featured BMI's Senior Director of Latin Music, Delia Orjuela, moderating an insightful conversation with some of Latin music's top executives, including Billboard Latin correspondent Ayala Ben-Yehuda; Richard Bull, Regional Manager, EMI/Televisa; Yvonne Gomez, Latin Creative Director, West Coast and Mexico, peermusic; Jesus Naranjo, Director, Latin Sales, Universal Music Group Distribution; and Gil Gastelum, Manager, Cosmica Artists. The discussion covered all aspects of Latin music, including its evolution and struggles in the U.S. market.
