When New York-based songwriter Steve McEwan made a routine stop in Nashville recently, BMI was ready to make him feel at home with a congratulatory dinner at Park Cafe. The cause for celebration: McEwan co-wrote Kenny Chesney's feel-good No. 1 hit, "Summertime."
