MIDEM Honors Live 8 Trio
One of the highlights of the 40th Annual MIDEM, held recently in Cannes, France was the honoring of Bob Geldof, Harvey Goldsmith and John Kennedy as Personalities of the Year. The three Band Aid trustees were cited for conceiving, creating and staging last summers Live 8 event, which was viewed by an estimated three billion people at concert venues, on television or online.
