BMI London Hosts CMA Board Meeting

Posted in News on January 24, 2006
The BMI London office played host to the Country Music Association's (CMA) recent board meeting held earlier this month. BMI is a longtime supporter of the CMA's efforts to enhance the development of country music throughout the world. Countless BMI country songwriters have been supported by, recognized and honored with CMA Awards over the years.

Pictured at the meeting are (l-r) BMI's Phil Graham, CMA's Bobbi Boyce, International Director and board member Jeff Walker, award recipient Paul Fenn, CMA's Tammy Genavese and Rick Murray, and BMI's Brandon Bakshi.

During the meeting, booking agent Paul Fenn of the UK's Asgard Promotions was presented with the CMA's International Talent Buyer/Promoter of the Year Award. Established to honor an individual who has contributed the most to the advancement of country music by creative artist packaging, new artist development and producing new and creative country promotions, this is fourth time Fenn has received this prestigious award.
