BMI and Consect, the mobile and digital music community forum leader, have announced they will present the Global Wireless Summit on May 19 and 20 at the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel in Los Angeles. The conference will feature speakers from the mobile music, gaming, messaging and wireless carrier industries. Discounted registration will be available to BMI songwriters and publishers.

"The Global Wireless Summit will bring together leaders from the converging entertainment, gaming, online and wireless industries to talk about this growing medium," said Richard Conlon, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development at BMI. "We're looking forward to helping present a forward-thinking slate of panels and keynotes to help inform and facilitate business opportunities for both the content and wireless communities."

"With the success of our Miami and Atlanta CTIA conferences, we've seen the need for a west-coast based event that focuses on continuing the ongoing dialogue in the music and wireless communities," says Mark Frieser, CEO of Consect. "By partnering with BMI, we're opening the audience wider to songwriters, publishers and agents to continue this dialogue and provide a forum for the wireless community to educate participants on this fast moving marketplace."
