Encouraged by BMI Award-winning writer Robert Jason, singer/songwriter Randy Kohrs visited BMI during Fan Fair week to sign a writer affiliation agreement. Kohrs's just-released Junction Records CD, A Crack In My Armour, was co-produced by Kohrs and Jason; the project's first single is "Little by Little."

Kohrs, who frequently tours with the John Cowan Band, is an accomplished instrumentalist, playing acoustic and electric dobro, acoustic and electric guitar, lap steel, straight steel, pedal steel, Hawaiian slide guitar, bottleneck blues guitar, mandolin, banjo, upright bass, and tenor acoustic guitar. A Crack In My Armour features three of his own compositions (two are collaborations with Robert Jason) as well as songs by fellow BMI writers Steve Dean, Jim Lauderdale, Judy Rodman, Roger Brown, Misty Maxwell and Adam Mitchell.
