BMI’s Sanjek Joins Black Heritage Month Music Biz Panel

BMI's Dr. David Sanjek (r), BMI Archives Director, recently participated on the panel "Show Me The Money: Race, Political Economics and the Music Biz" held at New York University's Gallatin School, as part of their celebration of Black Heritage Month entitled "Ambassador Satch: A Centennial Tribute to Louis Armstrong." The panel discussed the history of African-Americans in the music business and the struggles and successes they have encountered.
