Even in the rarefied atmosphere at the top of the charts, BMI affiliates Faith Hill and Stephanie Bentley are able to 'breathe' deeply: their single "Breathe" spent six weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Singles chart and continues to scale new heights. The song -- sung by Faith, co-written by Stephanie and Holly Lamar and co-published by Stephanie's company, Hopechest Music, and Universal Songs of Polygram International Inc. -- is currently at #3 on the Hot 100 chart. Last week the song received Academy of Country Music nominations for Song and for Country Video of the Year. Faith's Warner Bros. album Breathe (which debuted at #1 on the Country and Pop Album charts) is nominated by the ACM for Album of the Year; Faith also received ACM nominations for Entertainer of the Year and Top Female Vocalist.
