11th Annual Eagle Rock Music Fest Slated for Oct. 3

The 11th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival will take over the strip of Colorado Blvd. between Eagle Rock Blvd. and Argus on October 3, 2009, between 4 and 11 p.m. Free and open to music lovers of all ages, the festival celebrates the bustling indie music scene just northeast of Los Angeles. The event is presented by Councilmember Jose Huizar and Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock.
Throughout the day, more than 40 of the region’s premier rock, progressive pop, roots and jazz-infused artists, including a slew of BMI singer/songwriters, will perform. BMI bands scheduled to play include 60s-inspired piano-pop troupe Linus of Hollywood, shimmery young pop duo Alaskan Summer and retro-dipped electro-pop crew Fol Chen.
