On March 3, BMI’s Jody Williams helped induct longtime friend and beloved BMI songwriter Robert Earl Keen into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame. Additional inductees this red-letter year included Townes Van Zandt and Lyle Lovett. Keen, who has been performing since 1981, is one of the nation’s finest musical storytellers.
