Conclave Learning Conference in Minneapolis
BMI brought in legendary rocker Randy Bachman to participate in an intimate Q & A session at this year’s Conclave Learning Conference in Minneapolis (7/18/13). Bachman, founding member and lead guitarist for iconic rock bands the Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive, was interviewed by Steve Hoffman, Executive Producer of “Rock All Night,” a syndicated all-night classic-rock radio show based in San Diego. With guitar in hand, Bachman played pieces of songs and told the stories behind the monster hits he wrote for the groups, such as “American Woman” and “Takin’ Care of Business.” The Conclave Learning Conference draws radio programming executives as well as syndicators, suppliers and music industry professionals.
