photo

April 2, 2010 How I Became the Bomb walked away with a big win after the second installment of the 2010 Road to Bonnaroo on Monday, March 22 at the Mercy Lounge. The band will join The Non-Commissioned Officers at Bonnaroo, leaving the third and fourth 2010 festival slots left to be decided on April 19 and May 17, respectively. The contest, sponsored by BMI, Mercy Lounge, Yuengling, Camping World, and the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, features the best of Nashville’s indie crop vying for four spots at Bonnaroo 2010. The competition is staged during designated nights of BMI’s free 8 off 8th showcase, and a combination of industry judges and audience participation determine the winner each night. Pictured at the show are The Kicks’ Adam Stark; Mercy Lounge’s Drew Mischke; The Kicks’ Gabe Anderson, Jordan Phillips, and Lucas Cummins; and BMI’s Mark Mason. (Photo by )
