BMI Brings Live Music to Atlanta to Help Museum Attract a Younger Audience

BMI joined forces recently (11/20/15) with the High Museum of Art in Atlanta to present a special Friday night concert by Ruby Velle and The Soulphonics, a high energy BMI-affiliated funk band with a strong following in the South. In an unusual partnership, BMI worked with the High to feature live music to attract a younger demographic to the fine arts museum and create a more diverse membership base. The event was a huge success, attracting close to a thousand people to watch the band and enjoy half-price admission to the museum.
