Members from the team that brought Broadcast Music, Inc. composer Ryan Amon’s Elysium score to life came together for a lecture presentation at the Aero Theatre on August 23 in Santa Monica, California. The well-attended event was organized by veteran score recording, mixing and mastering engineer John Rodd and brought together the film’s lead orchestrator, conductor, music editors and Rodd himself for a discussion on efficient workflow and technological tricks for producing a score. Ticket proceeds benefitted Students Run LA, a charity that helps at-risk secondary school students train for the Los Angeles Marathon.
