BMI Indie Spotlight: Elohim
LA-based artist, producer, and songwriter, Elohim, creates music that explores the beauty of human connection. Her musical style spans the gamut from inventive electronic and indie alternative to unabashed pop with her stunning live shows set against a backdrop of breathtaking visuals. With 300+ million global streams, placement on BBC’s Future Music Playlist, and an ever-growing fanbase, Elohim continues to push boundaries. Her journey has not been easy, and since first releasing songs in 2015, she has grown into a strong, enigmatic woman who is proud of her music and proud of how she has conquered her fears. Elohim’s 2019 EP, BRAINDEAD, dealt with themes of mental illness, with proceeds from the sales supporting several mental health initiatives, and she has released several tracks in 2020, including “Group Therapy,” “Vacuum,” and “I’m Lost.” Elohim continues working on new music, due out soon.
