Several legendary BMI affiliates were honored at the Songwriters Hall of Fame 49th Annual Induction & Awards Gala, held June 14 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. This year saw the prestigious induction of BMI songwriters Bill Anderson, Steve Dorff, Allee Willis and Robert “Kool” Bell, George Brown and James “JT” Taylor of Kool & the Gang.
