The Association of Independent Music Publishers LA chapter held its annual holiday party on Thursday, December 6, serving as both a mixer and benefit for the AIMP Linda Komorsky Liker Scholarship Fund and The City of Hope cancer treatment and research center in Los Angeles. The celebration, which was held at BMI’s LA office, included the crowning of the Independent Publisher of the Year, which was awarded to Pulse Music Group CEOs Scott Cutler and Josh Abraham, as well as Pulse Publishing Administration’s Mary Jo Mennella. The Individual Award, also given out that evening, honored songwriter and co-founder of SONA, Michelle Lewis.
