Faculty Member Harold Lilly Joins KMF Staff

Grammy Award-winning songwriter and faculty member Harold Lilly has been added to the instructional staff for the upcoming Kauai Music Festival, being held May 26-29 on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.

Other hit songwriters joining the KMF staff are Vanessa Carlton (“A Thousand Miles”) and Sean Garrett (“Yeah!” by Usher), as well as previously announced instructors including country songwriter Jeffrey Steele (“These Days”), pop tunesmith Kara Dioguardi (“Pieces of Me” by Ashlee Simpson), Grammy Award-winning producer and faculty member Russ Titelman (Bee Gees, Eric Clapton) and Performing Songwriter editor/publisher and faculty member Lydia Hutchinson.

The Festival, tempered throughout with Kauai’s “Aloha Spirit,” provides an opportunity for aspiring songwriters to hone their craft under the tutelage of some of the best songwriters in the world. The KMF offers a unique combination of small group songwriter workshops, master classes, instructional panels and seminars on a variety of pertinent subjects, a songwriting contest, and concerts.
