Calling All BMI Emerging Artists: Open Audition for E.A.R.S. Talent Showcase

Attention all BMI members!! The Emerging Artist Reaching for Stardom (E.A.R.S.) Talent Showcase will be holding open auditions on May 16 from 3pm-10pm and on May 17 from 10am-6pm at the Rippley Grier Studio (520 8th Avenue & 36th Street). Come audition for NYC's hottest showcase! This is your chance to be seen by top music industry executives from major labels including Jive, Arista, Sony, Electra, J Records, Def Jam, MCA and others.

Judges include Chevonne Dean, CEO, Ruff Ryders; Trevor Jeardeau, A&R, J Records; Carl Rybaki, A&R, Warner Brothers Records; Lanette Grandville, Talent Coordinator, BET; James Maynes, Senior VP, Jive Records; James Eichelberger, A&R, Universal; Mark Sparks, A&R, MCA; and Mark Pitts, VP A&R, Arista Records. Other executives TBA.

Record Deal
Artists will compete for a recording/demo deal from one of the major labels

National TV Spot
One lucky winner will perform on BET's 106th & Park

Compilation CD
10 finalists will be featured on the E.A.R.S. Compilation CD Volume III, distributed to an exclusive list of industry insiders

Custom CD package from Discmakers
One finalist will win a state-of-art package of 1500 studio quality CD's
Five runners-up will receive 25% off any custom manufactured project
