BMI Supports Next Session of Song Arts Academy Workshop – Apply Now!
Song Arts Academy, which evolved out of BMI’s Contemporary Songwriters Workshop, starts a new 5-week Workshop Intensive beginning Tuesday, September, 22 in midtown Manhattan. More than 225 songwriters have attended the workshop in the past 18 months, focusing on learning advanced song crafting techniques used by the world’s elite pop songwriters to create hit songs. Through weekly writing assignments, critiquing studies, song title evaluation, and other strategies, songwriters learn a “new vocabulary” of how to listen to hit songs and apply that knowledge to their own work.
