BMI songwriter and recording artist Colin Lake recently (5/29/14) brought his New Orleans-based band to the joint convention of the Louisiana and Mississippi Broadcasters Associations to headline their closing dinner in the Big Easy at the Hilton Riverside. Lake and his bandmates rocked the traditional “Crawfish Boil” with songs from his last album, The Ones I Love, as well as cuts from his upcoming project. The Pacific Northwest native wowed the radio and TV execs in attendance with his bluesy sound and prolific slide guitar playing.
