August Rigo Joins BMI Family
BMI recently welcomed August Rigo to its growing family. A potent songwriter and producer, Rigo has written chart candy including “U Smile,” “Stuck in a Moment,” and “Kiss and Tell” for Justin Bieber’s soon-to-be platinum sophomore release, My World 2.0. In fact, Sean Kingston, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, David Archuleta, Alexis Jordan, Pleasure P, Fat Joe, Iyaz, and Jessica Jarrell have all recorded his songs. Most recently, Rigo inked a deal as an artist with Island/Def Jam. Work on his first album is already underway: Rigo is co-producing the project with business partner Justa Beast and will also call on Boi-1da, Stargate, The Runners and the Stereotypes.
