BMI and Songwriters Eric Church and Luke Laird Celebrate Number 1 ‘Talladega’

Broadcast Music, Inc., along with music industry executives, helped BMI songwriters Eric Church and Luke Laird celebrate their number one hit “Talladega,” which marked Church’s fourth chart-topper and brought Laird’s tally to an astonishing 19. Church is in the middle of a national tour in support of his 2014 album The Outsiders, the winner of the American Music Award for Favorite Country album and current nominee for CMA Album of the Year. The celebration also featured a special presentation from EMI Nashville, commemorating the platinum certification of The Outsiders and the gold certification of his 2006 debut Sinners Like Me.
