Bill Anderson Adds Four More BMI Million-Air Awards To His Collection

BMI recently congratulated Whisperin’ Bill Anderson on his four new additions to the BMI Million-Air club. Anderson’s songs span generations and themes: “Whiskey Lullaby,” “A Lot of Things Different,” “Give It Away” and “City Lights” all surpassed one million-performances, reiterating the ace songwriter’s unique longevity. Athens, Georgia also saluted Anderson recently by hosting an official “Whisperin’ Bill Anderson” day, and recognized the occasion by placing a historical marker at the WGTV studios where he recorded “City Lights.”
