Jack Sander, former Vice Chairman of Belo Corporation in Dallas, Texas, was re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Broadcast Music, Inc. at the company’s annual shareholder meeting, held today in Nashville, TN. Cecil L. Walker, former Chairman & CEO, Gannett Broadcasting, Atlanta, GA , was re-elected Presiding Director. Also re-elected as members of the Board, in addition to Sander, were Virginia Hubbard Morris, President of Hubbard Radio and Vice President, Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., St. Paul, MN; G. Neil Smith, President, GNS Media, LLC, Liberty, SC; N. John Douglas, President/CEO, AIM Broadcasting, LLC, Palo Alto, CA; Kenneth J. Elkins, President & CEO, Pulitzer Broadcasting and Senior Vice President, Broadcasting, Pulitzer Publishing Co. (retired), and Mark Pedowitz, Senior Advisor to the Office of the Co-Chairman, Disney-ABC Television Group. Morris and Smith were re-elected to terms that will expire in 2011; Douglas, Elkins, Pedowitz and Sander were re-elected to terms that will expire in 2013.
