Country Songwriter Kostas Performs for Montana Broadcasters

BMI Award-winning country songwriter, Kostas, performed recently for an enthusiastic group of radio and television executives who were attending the Montana Broadcasters Association Convention in Whitefish.

The Greek-American songwriter, who lives in Montana, has penned numerous Top 10 hits including BMI's 1994 Country Song of the Year "Blame It On Your Heart," co-written with the late Harlan Howard and recorded by Patty Loveless; he also wrote her No. 1 single "Timber I'm Falling In Love." Other cuts include "Ain't That Lonely Yet" and "Turn It On, Turn It Up, Turn Me Loose" for Dwight Yokam, "Lord Have Mercy On the Working Man" for Travis Tritt, and "Life #9" for Martina McBride.
