Latin Hip-Hop Group La Sinfonia Performs at Prism Awards

BMI Latin hip-hop group, La Sinfonia, were on hand to perform at the 9th Annual Multicultural Prism Awards hosted by Minorities in Business Magazine. The Sony Discos band performed their touching song, "Abrazame Muy Fuerte," about a child's love for his mother.

The gala, whose theme was "Celebrating the Contributions of the Hip-Hop Culture Through Urban Economics," was held December 17 at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles and honored hip-hop artists Fat Joe, Ludacris, Chuck D of Public Enemy, J.C. Watts, Mary J. Blige, Cash Money Records, and many others. The program recognizes the philanthropic endeavors and social/community contributions the artists make.
