Festville

One of my favorite things about coming to Sundance is living inside the bubble created by watching only Park City TV while I’m here.  It’s a little winter wonderland up here to begin with so when you tune out all other media, it feels like there is nothing else going on in the world at all besides the festival.  And, if you want to know what’s happening in Festville...PCTV will fill you in on all the details.  I mean all the details...down to interviewing ME on their morning show.  You know it’s early when it’s still dark out when you leave the house.

Even without coffee I managed to show up on time to meet up with composer Mark de gli Antoni to do our interview.  Mark was a member of the band Soul Coughing (think...Super Bon Bon) who had gone through the Sundance Composer Lab several years ago...and this year he is at the festival having scored one of the big buzz films that got picked up right away by Miramax/HBO, “Roman Polanski:  Wanted and Desired”.  We had a great time playing off each other and trying to sound articulate and when we were done, his director Marina Zenovich showed up to do the segment after us.
