Latin rock superstar Juanes headlined a show presented by BMI on Friday, March 16 at the ACL Moody Theatre during SXSW 2012. The Colombia native, who was honored with the BMI President’s Award in 2010, performed a dynamic set full of new material and his most-loved hits, including “A Dios Le Pido,” “La Camisa Negra,” and “La Señal” from his MTV Unplugged album. A huge crowd gathered on Friday, March 16 at Auditorium Shores for an anticipated SXSW performance by the Counting Crows. Presented by BMI and featuring opening acts Diamond Rugs and Tender Mercies, the show, which was free to the public as well as festival attendees, included hits from the Counting Crows as well as songs from their new album, <Underwater Sunshine (or What We Did on Our Summer Vacation).
