2013 Photos of the Year
February 24, 2013: BMI Composer Mychael Danna took home the Oscar for Original Score to place right next to his Golden Globe Award, also won for his score of the film, Life of Pi. It was the beginning of a phenomenal 2013 winning streak for Danna, who went on to win at the BMI Film/TV Awards, the Creative Arts Emmys and the World Soundtrack Awards, in addition to being honored at the Palm Springs International Film Festival with the Frederick Loewe Award for Film Composing.
