BMI Hosts Music Row Awards
BMI hosted the 24th annual Music Row Awards on June 20 in its Nashville lobby, inviting the community to honor some of this year’s hardest working artists and professionals. BMI songwriters Johnny Bulford and Phil Barton were voted 2012 Music Row Breakthrough Songwriters of the Year for their hit No. 1 “A Woman Like You,” and BMI great Matraca Berg co-wrote the 2012 Music Row Song of the Year, Kenny Chesney’s “You and Tequila.” Pictured are BMI’s Kay Clary, Music Row founder David Ross, Music Row’s Robert Oermann and Sherod Robertson, and BMI’s Clay Bradley.
