Robert Earl Keen Makes Ryman Debut

When longtime BMI singer/songwriter Robert Earl Keen took the stage to perform at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for the very first time, the historic venue gave him a warm welcome, filling with fans of the beloved Texas troubadour. Keen performed a mash-up of his winding story songs, feel-good sing-a-longs and new material off his eleventh studio album, Ready for Confetti, which hit no. 1 on the Americana Music Chart in mid-October. Backstage helping Keen celebrate his first night at the Ryman are BMI’s Mark Mason and Clay Bradley; Keen; Brian Wagner, Marketing Manager, Ryman Auditorium; and BMI’s Jody Williams.
