BMI continued its tradition of elevating music's most promising new voices at the latest installment of its Next Fresh Thing showcase held Thursday October 6 at the Viper Room in Los Angeles. Hosted by Stacy Barthe, the evening kicked off with Le VICE’s hip-hop infused electro-funk, then ace Surf Club rapper Kent Money. Dynamic duo Nola Darling followed with a combination of soul, hip-hop and hints of reggae, and Overdoz’s explosive performance (shown) capped off the night. View Photo
