Songwriter Equity Act of 2014 Gains New Co-Sponsor
Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) (@reptomprice) has co-sponsored H.R. 4079, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2014. The legislation was introduced by his fellow Georgian Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) (@RepDougCollins) in February of this year. A physician, Dr. Price has served in Congress since 2005. He sits on the Budget Committee, where he is Vice Chairman, and also serves on the House Ways & Means Committee and the Education & Workforce Committee. His support for songwriters in Georgia is welcome news.
