Songwriter Equity Act Garners Support From House Representative Grace Napolitano of California
Congresswoman Grace Napolitano (D-CA-32) has joined lead Democratic cosponsor, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-8) (@RepJeffries), in supporting H.R. 1283, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2015. The bill, which was introduced in March by Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA-9) (@RepDougCollins), continues to gain momentum as it gains the support of Members of Congress from around the country. Congresswoman Napolitano sits on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, where she serves as the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, as well as the House Committee on Natural Resources.
