Song Arts Academy Starts New 5-Week Workshop in NY – Apply Now!
Song Arts Academy, which evolved out of BMI’s Contemporary Songwriters Workshop, starts a new 5-week Workshop Intensive beginning Tuesday, February 16, and running five consecutive Tuesday evenings in midtown Manhattan. The Workshop, facilitated by music veteran Billy Seidman, focuses on teaching advanced song crafting techniques used by today’s top pop charting songwriters and producers. Past workshop members include artists signed to major record labels, Voice and American Idol contestants, and hundreds of songwriters from the tri-state area. This is an advanced course with a cost of $250 for the 5 week program. The workshop is limited to 15 so writers are encouraged to apply ASAP.
