Licensing Executives Treated to Soulful Performance from BMI Singer-Songwriter Jonny P

BMI brought critically acclaimed R&B singer-songwriter Jonny P to San Diego recently (10/17) to perform at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the National Association of Licensing Compliance Professionals. NALCP is a trade association with membership comprised of restaurant, retail and hotel chain executives responsible for the liquor and music licensing at their respective companies. Jonny P is a BMI songwriter based in Nashville whose recent EP Good to You was mixed by legendary engineer Tom Elmhirst, who has also worked with Adele, Frank Ocean and Amy Winehouse. In addition to singing and writing songs, the Bronx-born artist recently tried out his acting skills, landing a role in the  film Detroit, which was directed by Academy Award-winning director and screen writer Kathryn Bigelow. Jonny is currently in LA recording a new album due out early next year.
