On the eve of the Latin GRAMMY Awards, BMI, Corona, Full Sail University, Lurssen Mastering, Muzooka, Sony/ATV, SXSW Music Festival, Universal Music Publishing and Warner/Chappell Music Publishing presented the 2012 Los Producers Charity Show benefitting comprehensive cancer center City of Hope’s Hispanic Resource program.  The event took place at the Hard Rock Café on the Las Vegas Strip. Hosted by Super Estrella on-air personality and producer Diablito and recording artist and TV host T. Lopez, the evening featured performances by 2012 Latin GRAMMY nominees Nacho of Chino Y Nacho, Carla Morrison, Los Claxons, Kinky, Gianmarco, Jotdog, Luis Enrique, Ulises Hadjis, Pamela Rodriguez, Vega, Antonio Orozco, Deborah de Corral, Los Mesoneros and Noel Schajris, Moderatto, and Duina del Mar.

In addition, Juanes and Nelly Furtado surprised the crowd by taking the stage and also giving their best for this important charity.  All performers were backed by the Ace house band which included Sebastian Krys, Dan Warner, Lee Levin, Doug Emery and Rodrigo Cardenas.

BMI and Los Producers proudly joined forces with City of Hope for the event, which raised awareness of health issues within the Hispanic community.  All proceeds, including those from both a silent and online auction, which is still open for bidding at www.cookman.com/losproducers, will benefit City of Hope’s Hispanic Resource program.
