Indie Spotlight: LANY
Even though they have been putting out music together for less than a year, three friends from Nashville are making quite a mark with their dream-pop electronic songs. Jake, Les and Paul moved to Los Angeles to keep working on their signature, synth-infused borderline R&B tunes. They’ve independently released only 4 tracks, but harvested the power of a Windows computer in a bedroom to produce difficult-to-categorize, easy-listening tunes that have already gained a #1 spot on Hype Machine. “Made in Hollywood” is the latest dreamy release, showing their immense talent and skill at using the Internet to promote it. Their EP, Acronyms, is out now.
