Indie Spotlight: J Randy
Hailing from New York City, J Randy is a self-described mash-up of songs and swagger. Taking an early interest in music, he picked up his first drum set at age three, piano at five and guitar at 12. Nowadays, his music aims to “bring the party and reflect on life in New York and the highs and lows of relationships, late night escapades and just everyday livin’.” Although he has yet to release any material commercially, J Randy has recently been in the studio with renowned producers Mark Batson (Dr. Dre, Beyoncé, Eminem); Aqua (Jay Z, Kanye West, Beanie Sigel); Cisco Adler (Wiz Khalifa, Mike Posner) and Camus Celli (Gavin DeGraw, 2AM Club) - and he’s already won over enthusiastic fans through energetic live performances in Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and his hometown of NYC.
