Indie Spotlight: Andy Gruhin
Singer/songwriters aren’t always gentle. Meet Andy Gruhin, born and bred in Washington D.C., a passionate singer/songwriter with a punk rocker’s heart and soul. A walking contradiction, he breaks the rules only to reconnect them. His old-school voice but new school music have a quality that remind you of rock and roll past and rock and roll future, all at the same time. If Bruce Springsteen and Say Anything had a baby, this is what it would sound like. Gruhin recently released a new album, Let The Darkness Grow!, available on iTunes. He currently studies at Syracuse University and is planning a Northeast tour.
