Hit Shuffle: The BMI Stage at ACL Fest 2011

Posted in News on September 6, 2011

Once again, BMI will pour homegrown cool and indie-bred heat into the eclectic mix at the 10th Annual Austin City Limits Music Festival, slated for September 16-18 in Austin, Texas. Nestled in a shady Zilker Park corner, the BMI stage is a perennial favorite, where crowd surfing is harmoniously followed by two-stepping. Texas’ rich artistic melting pot will be represented by Gary Clark, Jr., Patrice Pike and MilkDrive, while Ha Ha Tonka, Pernikoff Brothers, We Are Augustines and Bobby Long showcase the multi-regional scope of contemporary music’s roots renaissance. Texas transplants Seth Walker and Tyler Bryant, as well as The Kingston Springs, Courtney Jaye and Chancellor Warhol, will reflect Nashville’s deepening talent pool, while Jon Pardi and Hudson Moore offer radio-ready honkytonk, and Beardyman brings sounds from across the pond.
