Congress Continues to Stand Behind Songwriter Equity Act of 2015

Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA-27) (@RepJudyChu) has joined lead Democratic co-sponsor Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-8) (@RepJeffries) and co-sponsored H.R. 1283, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2015. Congresswoman Chu serves on the House Judiciary Committee, where she is a member of the Intellectual Property (IP) and Internet Subcommittee. A longtime champion for the creative community on Capitol Hill, Congresswoman Chu is a co-chair of the Congressional Creative Rights Caucus (@RespectCreators) alongside SEA lead sponsor Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA-9) (@RepDougCollins).
